Now Backpage is gone where can I post?

In the past 24 hours many escort advertising sites have disappeared.

Its been very stressful for us all but it’s not the end of the world. I promise :)

Backpage only started 5 or so years ago and we were all fine before backpage and we will all be fine again

Backpage was the top of google – the basic SEO reason for why backpage was the top of Google was because we all posted ads on there all day every day giving it unique content & a zillion pages for google to crawl – so as it had the most ads and the most pages and the most of everything so it was top of google

With Backpage and Cracker are gone, other sites will go the top of Google

I have been checking sites for the past 2 hours or so to see what is online – It’s 2.16pm on Sunday, April 8 in Sydney and it’s possible this list will change in the coming hours but many of these options are outside the US so they should stay up

Many ad sites are pushing themselves as the new great options but don’t pay for anything new as there are so many free options already. Most of the sites I have listed below have free options, use the free, you don’t need to pay

Ladies, don’t waste your money paying for unknown sites.

The Google top 5 is the best but some established brand name sites will work well too.

Known brand sites may not be the top of Google but they will still have quality web traffic due to brand queries

Use google to check where various sites show up using the main terms like ‘escort Sydney’ ‘Sydney escort ‘ etc

Google rankings move around but generally, if a site is on the first page it will probably be there for a while unless there is an algorithm change & it drops like a stone to page 5

So many new directories have been started in the past month trying to capitalise on the closure of backpage. Don’t get fooled by the promises of these new sites and their marketing. Older established sites are definitely the best for so many reasons (read the blog to learn more)

Sites like SimilarWeb will show you how much traffic these new sites have, most have very little

Now is the time to get your own website

If you don’t have a website you are missing out on valuable free website advertising – SiteGround allows Adult websites including escorts to host with them. Many hosting companies do not allow adult so check their terms & conditions before you host

If you have your own website SEO is important. Your options are to pay a professional or you can have a go yourself with the help of an SEO tool such as SEMRush (they have a free 7-day trial if you want to check it out)
